Refund policy
Unopened Items Returned Within 30 Days of Receipt:
Unopened and undamaged products can be returned to Ink Genie for a full refund at the buyer’s expense within 30 days of receipt. The flat shipping fee is non refundable.
To initiate a return, please email support@inkgenie.com with the following details: Name, Order #, and Reason for return. A response email with return approval will be sent within 2 business days, including return instructions.
Unopened Items Returned After 30 Days, But Within 180 Days:
If items are returned after 30 days but within 180 days of receipt, and they remain unopened and undamaged, we will issue a full credit toward a future purchase. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. The flat shipping fee is non refundable. Returns cannot be accepted after 180 days from receipt.
Returns of Opened Items:
Products returned that are materially different from how they were originally shipped (e.g., opened manufacturer’s packaging from a “New” box condition) will be evaluated for resellability. Ink Genie reserves the right to accept or reject such returns based on the condition of the product. If the product is deemed unsellable, no refund or credit will be issued. If the product is deemed resellable, a 50% restocking fee will apply. Returned items must have the original manufacturer's packaging and Ink Genie’s Inventory sticker to be eligible for a refund or credit.
Returns of Used Items:
Ink Genie does NOT accept returns of used or installed items.
Defective Item Returns:
To open a return or replacement request for a defective item, please submit a copy of your Supplies Status Page (generated from your printer), Ink Genie’s Inventory Sticker, and photos of the damaged item or printing errors/error messages. This documentation is essential for assessing the defect or damage.
Ink Genie will review the provided information and, upon approval, send a shipping label or request the cartridge be properly recycled. Please retain all original packaging in case the item needs to be returned.
However, returns are not accepted after 180 days from receipt. If a defect is reported beyond 180 days, Ink Genie reserves the right to approve or deny the request.
Return Processing and Refunds:
Please allow for shipping time, warehouse processing, and returns handling. Most refunds are processed within five business days of receipt of the returned item. If you have not received your refund after this period, please reach out to support@inkgenie.com.
